Meet your teacher

I come from a family of teachers, so I have always been immersed in the world of teaching. I knew I would go on to do it myself one day, but it ended up being straight after university!

I studied BSc International Management with American Business Studies at the University of Manchester, including a study abroad at the University of Florida. I then completed my PGCE and gained Qualified Teacher Status at the University of the West of England.

My first job was as a Teacher of Business at Lydiard Park Academy in Swindon. I then moved to Wood Green School in Witney as a Teacher of Business and Economics, and after a year moved into the vacant Head of Business and Economics role. I spent four years building the department into a thriving part of the school. Student numbers doubled at GCSE and A-Level, our grades improved, and students went off to amazing universities and apprenticeships.

In July 2024 I took a role as a corporate trainer at Abbott Toxicology, because all that studying of business and economics made me want to try it in the private sector. That also opened the door to private tuition. In the two years since I left the classroom, I have built a network of students I tutor in economics. It is my favourite part of my working week: simply teaching and learning a subject I love. My tutees are consistently outperforming their classmates, and I have become a better teacher because of these sessions.

Now I want to bring my resources, my passion and my ability to simplify the content to more students across the country. The online classroom is where I host great teaching, live sessions, student engagement and a sense of community.

If that sounds like something you are interested in, sign up or get in touch for more information.
